Snowstorm is a rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden, founded in 1976 by Lars "Dille" Diedricson (vocals), Peter Nordholm (guitar), Torben Ferm (drums) and Micael Serenban (bass). Lars Diedricson
Lars "Dille" Diedricson (12 August 1961 – 6 March 2017) was a Swedish musician and songwriter living in Skara. He was a member of the band Snowstorm when it was founded in 1976 and in the 1990s Diedricson fronted the band Don Patrol who released two albums and opened for David Lee Roth in Europe in 1991. Don Patrol had reunited to release an album in 2015. He won the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 as the songwriter for Take Me to Your Heaven performed by Charlotte Nilsson for Sweden. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. Wizex
Wizex is a Swedish dansband formed in Osby in 1973. It purchased the rights to the name from a band that started as ''Ulrik Wittmans Kvintett'' in 1957''.'' When Ulrik Wittman left the band in 1963 they started to use the name ''Wizex''. When read out the name sounds like "The Six of Us", "vi sex", in Swedish, and it was six persons left in the band when they changed the name. Today's band had six founders and was allowed to purchase the name, and hence use 1973 as the starting point. Wizex broke through in 1977 when they performed on nationwide TV-show '' Nygammalt'' and got its first top ten on the Swedish charts same year with the song ''Vagabond.'' A winter storm is an event in which wind coincides with varieties of precipitation that only occur at freezing temperatures, such as snow, mixed snow and rain, or freezing rain.
