Sometime Samurai
"Sometime Samurai" is a song written and performed by Japanese music producer Towa Tei and Australian singer Kylie Minogue for Tei's album ''Flash'' (2005). It was originally recorded as a demo alongside "GBI (German Bold Italic)" in 1996, but remained unreleased for eight years until Minogue had the opportunity to re-record her vocals in 2003. Before its inclusion on ''Flash'', the song was mentioned in Minogue's book '' Kylie: La La La''. The song was written about Minogue's then-boyfriend, photographer Stéphane Sednaoui. It was released in Japan as a promotional radio single to promote the release of ''Flash''. A music video was also made for the song, but did not feature Minogue as she was busy touring her Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour. Towa Tei
is a Japanese artist, record producer, and DJ. Born in Yokohama, Japan, Towa debuted as a member of Deee-Lite, from the US label Elektra Records in 1990 and shot to fame via their international hit single, "Groove Is In the Heart". He made his solo debut with the album ''Future Listening!'' in 1994. He has since relocated back from New York to rural Nagano prefecture in Japan. Towa's second studio album, ''Sound Museum'' (1997), became his highest charting effort at number 17 on the ''Oricon'' charts. were the hereditary military nobility and officer caste of medieval and early-modern Japan from the late 12th century until their abolition in 1876. Buffalo Daughter is a Japanese rock band formed in 1993. The three main members are suGar Yoshinaga (ex-Havana Exotica) on guitar, Yumiko Ohno (ex-Havana Exotica) on bass, and Moog (later changed to MoOog) Yamamoto on turntables and graphic design. The group had a drummer, Chica Ogawa, but after his departure they have had no permanent drummer and have hired different people to fill in as needed.
