Eyvind Solås
Eyvind Stauri Solås (11 May 1937 – 22 April 2011) was a Norwegian musician, composer, actor and program host in NRK, both the Norwegian television and radio. Solås was instrumental in the establishment of the music and theater line subjects at Romerike Folk High School, where he was a professor in the late 1960s. He later worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1969-2002 where he hosted the TV series ''Musikknytt'' from 1972-1986. He released the LP "Professoren" with Knut Høiland in 1974 and later "Eyvind & Trond-Viggo" with Trond Viggo Torgersen in 1980. He wrote the music for twenty radio plays.Henriksen, Marianne (2014). Håvard Solås Taugbøl
Håvard Solås Taugbøl (born 20 August 1993) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. He competed in four events at the 2011 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival, then three events at both the 2012 and 2013 Junior World Championships, winning a bronze and a silver medal in the relay. He made his World Cup debut in December 2013 in the Davos sprint, also collecting his first World Cup points with a 21st place. In his next World Cup outing, in March 2014, he finished 11th in the Lahti sprint. In 2014–15 he improved to a 7th place in December 2014 in Davos and 4th place in March 2015 in Lahti, both in sprints. He represents the sports club Lillehammer SK. Monica Kristensen Solås
Monica Kristensen Solås (born 30 June 1950), is a Norway, Norwegian glaciology, glaciologist, meteorologist, Polar region, polar exploration, explorer and crime novelist. She was awarded a Founders Gold Medal by the Royal Geographical Society in 1989. Life She was born in Torsby, Sweden, of Swedish/Norwegian parents, and moved as a child to Kongsvinger in Norway. She is a physics graduate of the University of Tromsø, and has taken part in many expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic. In 1986–1987 she was leader of an expedition to follow Roald Amundsen’s route to the South Pole, but was forced to turn back at 86 degrees south. She was awarded a Founders Gold Medal by the Royal Geographical Society in 1989. In 1991-92 she led a glaciology and climate change expedition titled the Aurora Program and based on the Filchner Ice Shelf.
