Solomon Islands National Football Team
The Solomon Islands national football team is the national football team of the Solomon Islands, administered by the Solomon Islands Football Federation. The Solomon Islands national football team was founded in 1978. They were officially recognised by FIFA a decade later, in 1988. History During the 2004 Oceania World Cup qualification/Oceania Cup the team drew 2–2 with Australia and qualified for the second leg. In the second leg, the Solomon Islands national men's team were thrashed by Australia 5–1 and 6–0 in the two matches, with Australia qualifying for the 2005 Confederations Cup. Bonito
Bonitos are a tribe of medium-sized, ray-finned predatory fish in the family Scombridae – a family it shares with the mackerel, tuna, and Spanish mackerel tribes, and also the butterfly kingfish. The men's football tournament at the 2019 Pacific Games was held from 8 to 20 July 2019. It was the 15th edition of the men's Pacific Games football tournament. Together with the women's competition, all matches were played at the J.S. Blatter Stadium in Apia, Samoa. Unlike the men's football competition at the 2015 Pacific Games where only under-23 athletes were eligible to compete, this tournament was not age-restricted and thus was open to senior men's national teams. Jonathan Tehau is a Tahitian footballer currently playing for A.S. Central Sport. He is the brother of twins Lorenzo Tehau and Alvin Tehau and cousin of Teaonui Tehau, all playing for Tahiti national football team. He is a full-time member of the Tahiti national football team. The Vanuatu national football team is the national team of Vanuatu and is controlled by the Vanuatu Football Federation. History It was known as the New Hebrides national football team until the New Hebrides became Republic of Vanuatu in 1980. It finished fourth in the OFC Nations Cup in 1973, 2000, and 2002.
