Solomon Dalung
Solomon Selcap Dalung (born 26 September 1964) is a Nigerian Politician, Lawyer and Academic. He was made the Minister of Youth and Sports by President Muhammadu Buhari in November 2015 and his tenure ended in May 2019. He has served in the Nigerian Prisons Service, the University of Jos as a lecturer and as Chairman of Langtang South Local Government in Plateau State. Early life and education Solomon Dalung was born on the 26th of September 1964 in Sabo Gida, Plateau State. He had his primary school education at the Local Education Authority Primary School, Sabon Gida in Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State from 1971 to 1977. He then proceeded to Government College Keffi, Nassarawa State for his secondary school education. Sunday Akin Dare
Sunday Akin Dare (born 29 May 1966) is a Nigerian journalist and currently serves as the Nigerian Minister of Youth & Sports. He was formerly the Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), an appointment he was nominated for by President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari in August 2016. He is the current minister of youth and sports. Education Dare received his secondary school education at Baptist High School in Jos, a city in the Middle Belt of Nigeria, from 1978 to 1983. Solomon Lar
Chief (Dr.) Solomon Daushep Lar (April 1933 – 9 October 2013) (Walin Langtang) was a Nigerian politician who has held various offices at the National level for over 50 years. He was a member of the first national parliament when Nigeria gained independence in 1960. He was elected governor of Plateau State on the Nigerian People's Party (NPP) platform during the Nigerian Second Republic, holding office from October 1979 until the Military coup of 31 December 1983 that brought General Muhammadu Buhari to power. Chioma Ajunwa
Chioma Ajunwa-Opara, MON, OLY (born 25 December 1970) – also known as Chioma Ajunwa – is a Nigerian former track and field athlete and football player, notable for becoming the first Nigerian to win gold at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, and the first black African woman to win an Olympic gold medal in a field event.
