''Solo'' is an American comic book series that was published bi-monthly by DC Comics, beginning in October 2004. Each issue had 48 pages plus covers, with no Advertisement, ads. ''Solo'' was cancelled in 2006; in all, 12 issues appeared. Overview The title was conceived as an Comics anthology, anthology series to spotlight the work of a different comic book artist in each issue. The creators were free to tell stories in any genre and to use DC's library of characters as they saw fit. They could also work with writers if they chose, but the intention of the series was for them to show off the range of their own individual artistic sensibilities and abilities. Guillermo Rocamora
Guillermo Rocamora (born 1981) is a Uruguayan filmmaker. He first started working as a filmmaker in 2004. He worked for three years on his directorial debut, ''Solo'', prior to its release, in 2015. He is a graduate of the Universidad de la República and also studied at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión in Cuba. In 2019 he released a documentary on Mohammed Abdullah Taha Mattan The United States Department of Defense acknowledges holding three Palestinian detainees in Guantanamo. A total of 778 detainees have been held in extrajudicial detention in the Guantanamo Bay detention camps, in Cuba since the camps opened on J ..., one of six individuals formerly held in the Guantanamo detention camps for a dozen years, who were granted political asylum in Uruguay in 2014. Solo is the musical outfit of Dutch musicians Michiel Flamman and Simon Gitsels. The duo released two albums, of which the latest ''Solopeople'' was the biggest success. The album released on label Excelsior Recordings spawned a Dutch top 20 hit with ''Come Back To Me''. Biography Songs ’n Sounds (2003–2005) In 2003 Flamman and Gitsels team up under the name Solo. By then both have already paid their dues in the music industry. Flamman performed under the name J. Perkin and wrote songs for other artists. Gitsels worked as sessions musician for Mathilde Santing and Birgit. A year later the duo signs with Excelsior Recordings. On this label Solo releases its debut album ''Songs ‘n Sounds'' on 16 August. Solo is an Americans, American contemporary R&B, R&B musical group from New York City, New York, New York. The original members were Robert Anderson, Darnell Chavis, Eunique Mack and Dan Stokes. The group recorded their Solo (Solo album), eponymous debut album in Minneapolis, and released it in 1995 in music, 1995. Released on Perspective Records, the album featured production primarily by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. The album produced four singles: "Heaven (Solo song), Heaven", "Where Do U Want Me to Put It", "He's Not Good Enough" and "Blowin' My Mind". It was eventually RIAA certification, certified gold. Solo released their second album, ''4 Bruthas & a Bass'', in 1998. The album produced only one single, "Touch Me", which peaked at No. 59 on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100.
