Heo Sol-ji (Hangul: 허솔지; born January 10, 1989), known mononymously as Solji, is a South Korean singer. She was a member of the ballad duo group 2NB from 2006 to 2010. She later became a vocal trainer before joining EXID in July 2012 as the leader and main vocalist. Career Solji was formerly a member of the vocal duo 2NB with Blady's Gabin, and released solo singles in 2008. The duo disbanded in 2012. She then worked as EXID's vocal trainer before becoming a member. In April 2012, AB Entertainment announced that three original members Yuji, Dami, and Haeryeong would leave the girl group EXID. Solji then joined EXID along with Hyelin, a former ''Superstar K3'' participant. In February 2013, EXID formed a sub-unit called "Dasoni", which consisted of Solji and Hani. The sub-unit released their debut single "Goodbye" on February 15, 2013, which also included the song "Said So Often". EXID
EXID (; ; short for "Exceed in Dreaming") is a South Korean girl group formed in 2012. The group currently consists of five members: Heo Sol-ji, Solji, Elly (rapper), Elly, Hani (singer), Hani, Seo Hye-lin, Hyelin and Park Jeong-hwa, Jeonghwa. EXID debuted in February 2012, with the single "Whoz That Girl". Though the album gained some attention, it was not until 2014 that the group unexpectedly gained popularity with the single "Up & Down (song), Up & Down", which reached number one on the Gaon Singles Chart four months after release due to a fan-recording of a live performance becoming a viral video. ''The King of Mask Singer'' () is a South Korean singing competition program presented by Kim Sung-joo, with introductions by voice actor . It airs on MBC on Sunday, starting from April 5, 2015 as a part of MBC's '' Sunday Night'' programming block. Format Each competition lasts for two episodes, with the singers competing one-on-one in three elimination rounds. They are given elaborate masks which are made by designer and gloves to wear in order to conceal their identity, thus removing factors such as popularity, career and age that could lead to prejudiced voting. In the first round, both contestants sing the same song, while in the second and third round they each sing a solo song. The winners of each pair are selected by the audience and panel of celebrities through instant live votes. The identities of the singers are not revealed until they have been eliminated. Full Moon (EXID EP)
''Full Moon'' is the fourth extended play by South Korean girl group EXID. It was released on 7 November 2017 by Banana Culture. The EP marked the return of member Solji, who was absent from the group's previous EP due to health issues. This time, she participated in the recording process but was absent from the promotions and the lead single's music video. The EP debuted at number 7 on the Gaon Album Chart and at number 6 on US World Albums. It has sold over 16,000 physical copies as of November 2017. Background and release In mid-September 2017, it was announced that the group would be returning in late October with a new album. Adding that member Solji would be participating in the recording process, but her participation in promotions was still in consideration.
