Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries
Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries (SROM) is a Christian non-profit outdoor education and wilderness adventure school. SROM focuses teaching on four major areas through experiential education: technical outdoor skills, leadership development, wilderness care/ethics, and spiritual transformation. Activities that SROM teaches include rock climbing, backpacking, snowshoeing, and mountaineering. SROM offers customized courses and open enrollment courses ranging from one to forty days in length. SROM is accredited by the Association for Experiential Education (AEE), and is a partner of the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics.LNT Wyoming Partners page: College credit is available for some courses through Columbia International University. Never Summer Mountains
The Never Summer Mountains are a mountain range in the Rocky Mountains in north central Colorado in the United States consisting of seventeen named peaks. The range is located along the northwest border of Rocky Mountain National Park, forming the continental divide between the headwaters of the Colorado River in Rocky Mountain National Park to the local-east and the upper basin of the North Platte River ( North Park) to the local-west; the continental divide makes a loop in these mountains. The range is small and tall, covering only with a north-south length of while rising to over at over ten distinct peaks. Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park is an American national park located approximately northwest of Denver in north-central Colorado, within the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Vedauwoo
Vedauwoo () is an area of rocky outcrops (Sherman Granite) located in southeastern Wyoming, United States, north of Interstate 80, between Laramie and Cheyenne. Its name, according to some, is a romanized version of the Arapaho word "bito'o'wu" meaning "earth-born". Vedauwoo is located in the Medicine Bow - Routt National Forest and includes a day-use picnic area and an overnight campground. It is also a popular climbing area. Interstate 80 passes just south of the main rock outcroppings and well-marked highway signs indicate the exit to use in order to reach Vedauwoo. Snowy Range
The Medicine Bow Mountains are a mountain range in the Rocky Mountains that extend from northern Colorado into southern Wyoming. The northern extent of this range is the sub-range the Snowy Range. From the northern end of Colorado's Never Summer Mountains, the Medicine Bow mountains extend north from Cameron Pass along the border between Larimer and Jackson counties in Colorado and northward into south central Wyoming. The Wind River Range (or "Winds" for short) is a mountain range of the Rocky Mountains in western Wyoming in the United States. The range runs roughly NW–SE for approximately . The Continental Divide follows the crest of the range and includes Gannett Peak, which at , is the highest peak in Wyoming; and also Fremont Peak at , the third highest peak in Wyoming.
