Soldotna High School
Soldotna High School is a public high school serving grades 9–12 in Soldotna, Alaska. The school's primary objective is to prepare students for college and career opportunities. The school colors are silver and blue, and the mascot is a star. Approximately 720 students are currently enrolled. The school operates under the authority of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. The current principal is Sargeant Truesdell and the vice principal Tabitha Blades. Christopher Eugene Mabeus (born February 11, 1979) is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. He played one game at the major league level for the Milwaukee Brewers. He grew up in Soldotna, Alaska and attended Soldotna High School where he played baseball and water polo. He told reporters he was recruited by more colleges to play water polo than college baseball.
