The Beas River (Sanskrit: ; Hyphasis in Ancient Greek) is a river in north India. The river rises in the Himalayas in central Himachal Pradesh, India, and flows for some to the Sutlej River in the Indian state of Punjab. Its total length is and its drainage basin is large. Bharwain is a hill station situated in Amb Tehsil and hill hamlet village in Chintpurni region in the Una district of the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. Govind Sagar
Gobind Sagar Lake is a reservoir situated in Una and Bilaspur districts of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is formed by the Bhakra Dam. The reservoir is on the river Sutlej and is named in honour of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru. One of the world's highest gravity dams, the Bhakra dam rises nearly 225.5 m above its lowest foundations. Under the supervision of the American dam-builder, Harvey Slocum, work began in 1955 and was completed in 1962. Bangana is a Tehsil of Una District in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is located in the foothills of Solah Singhi Dhar (Lower Himalayas) in Una District of Himachal Pradesh, India.
