Sola Kosoko
Sola Kosoko, otherwise known as Sola Kosoko-Abina (born 7 January 1980), is a Nigerian film actress and film director known for Láròdá òjò. She is the daughter of Jide Kosoko. Sola kosoko starred in the movie ''Pala pala'' which also featured Yemi Solade and Muyiwa Kosoko. She addresses the Nigeria youth during the Media Literacy and Capacity Building program. Education Kosoko holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Olabisi Onabanjo University. Career Kosoko began her acting career professionally in 1999 where she featured in a movie titled ''Ola Abata'' produced by his father; Jide Kosoko. In 2001, she acted in the movie ''Omo Olorire'' which made her got popular. She has acted in several movies both in English and Yoruba since she started acting. Jide Kosoko (born 12 January 1954) is a Nigerian actor, director and producer. He was born into a royal family, hence his traditional title of prince or "omoba" in the Yoruba language. Early life Prince Jide Kosoko was born in Lagos on the 12th of January 1954, to the Kosoko royal family of Lagos Island. Career Prince Jide Kosoko studied business administration at the Yaba College of Technology. He began his acting career as a child actor in 1964 in a television production named ''Makanjuola''. He has featured in several Nollywood movies in both English and Yoruba languages. The young Jide Kosoko grew up in Ebute Metta and was inspired by the huge success of Hubert Ogunde to go into acting, when an acquaintance who was working with the Ifelodun travelling theatre troupe invited him to an audition for a role in ''Makanjuola'', a tele-movie. Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye is a state owned and operated university located in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria. The university was founded on 7 July 1982 as Ogun State University (OSU) and was renamed Olabisi Onabanjo University on 29 May 2001, in honour of Chief (Dr.) Olabisi Onabanjo, whose efforts as the then civilian governor of Ogun State gave birth to the university.
