Sokos Hotels is a Finland, Finnish hotel chain. It is the largest hotel chain in Finland, with a total of 49 hotels in 30 different cities and municipalities. Forty-five hotels are located in Finland, one in Tallinn, Estonia, and three in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Sokos Hotels is a part of S Group, which also operates the Sokos department store chain. Its ''S-Etukortti'' can be used at Sokos Hotels for customer ownership benefits. There is also S-Card, which can also be used at Sokos Hotels and other hotels and restaurants owned by S Group for benefits. Shopping Centre Valkea
Kauppakeskus Valkea is a shopping mall in Oulu, Finland. The mall includes about 60 shops, department store Sokos and 66 apartments. It's Osuuskauppa Arina's biggest investment so far, about 100 million euros. The estimated amount of new jobs it offers is about 400. The building is currently the tallest apartment building in downtown Oulu. The mall was opened on 14 April 2016. The opening weekend gathered over 80 000 people to the mall. Joensuu
Joensuu (; krl, Jovensuu; ) is a city and municipality in North Karelia, Finland, located on the northern shore of Lake Pyhäselkä (northern part of Lake Saimaa) at the mouth of the Pielinen River (''Pielisjoki''). It was founded in 1848. The population of Joensuu is (), and the economic region of Joensuu has a population of 115,000. It is the largest city in Finland. The S Group ( fi, S-ryhmä, sv, S-gruppen) is a Finnish retailing cooperative organisation with its head office in Helsinki. Founded in 1904, it consists of 20 regional cooperatives operating all around Finland in addition to SOK, ''Suomen Osuuskauppojen Keskuskunta'' (The Central Finnish Cooperative Society). S Group operates in the markets for groceries, consumer durables, service station, hotel and restaurant services. It is engaged in close competition with Kesko, with which it shares an oligopolistic position in many of the markets it operates in. The group has businesses in Finland, Estonia, and Russia. Kajaani (; sv, Kajana) is the most populous town and the capital of the Kainuu Region of Finland.
