Soheil Beiraghi
Soheil Beiraghi (Persian: سهیل بیرقی; born October 16, 1986, in Shahreza, Iran) is an Iranian independent film director, screenwriter and producer. He has directed the award-winning films I (''Me)'', '' Cold Sweat'' and '' Popular'' . He started out on his filmmaking career in 2005 as an assistant director in a number of cinematic productions. His ten-year experience of working as an assistant director and planner, paved the way for the making of his first feature film ''I'' (''Me)''. Beiraghi has also a record on play writing and theater directing. Biography Soheil Beiraghi was born on October 16, 1986, in Shahreza. He got involved in cultural and artistic activities at the age of 12, writing short stories and texts on different subjects for magazines and newspapers. Time Museum, Tehran
The Time Museum ( Persian: تماشاگه زمان) or the Hossein Khodadad House ( Persian: خانه حسین خداداد) is a museum in Tehran, Iran. The museum specializes in clocks and other time-measuring devices. History The five hectares large garden that surrounds the building possibly existed and had structures in it as far back as the reign of Mohammad Shah Qajar or Naser al-Din Shah Qajar. It was purchased by Hossein Khodadad, an Iranian industrialist, in 1963–1964, and underwent major restructuring and repair. Khodadad lived in the house merely for a year, as the building was later confiscated by the government after the Iranian revolution, and is being used as a time museum since 1999–2000, containing around a thousand old clocks. Fajr International Film Festival
Iran's annual Fajr International Film Festival ( fa, جشنواره بین‌المللی فیلم فجر), or Fajr Film Festival (little: FIFF; fa, جشنواره فیلم فجر), has been held every February and April in Tehran since 1982. The festival is supervised by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. It takes place on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The awards are the Iranian equivalent to the American Academy Awards. Mani Haghighi ( fa, مانی حقیقی; born 4 May 1969) is an Iranian film director, writer, film producer and actor. Haghighi started making movies in 2001. Early life and education Haghighi was born in Tehran, the son of the translator and gallery owner Lili Golestan and the cinematographer Nemat Haghighi.
