''Sogni mostruosamente proibiti'' () (''Monstrously Prohibited Dreams'') is a 1982 Italian comedy film directed by Neri Parenti. The film is loosely inspired by ''The Secret Life of Walter Mitty''. Plot Paolo Coniglio is a naive and bumbling writer in a publishing house of comics, bullied by the director and by his future mother-in-law. To escape the dreary daily routine, he finds himself the protagonist of very vivid daydreams in the company of Dalia, the beautiful heroine of the comic books who is responsible of translating. His visions play with popular heroes of the literature and comics, like Parsifal, Superman and Tarzan. Every time his awakening is increasingly more abrupt, when one day, doing the grocery shopping, he meets a charming blonde girl identical to Dalia that, against his will, involves him in a shady intrigue. Camillo Migliori, best known as Camillo Milli (1 August 1929 – 20 January 2022) was an Italian stage, film and television actor. Life and career Born in Milan, Milli formed under Giorgio Strehler at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, where he debuted in 1951 and where he was active until 1953. In the 1960s and in the 1970s he worked intensively with director Luigi Squarzina and at the Teatro Stabile in Genoa, specializing in the Carlo Goldoni repertoire. Milli was also active as a character actor in films, mainly cast in humorous roles, often as a sidekick of Paolo Villaggio. Michael Nicholas Salvatore Bongiorno (; May 26, 1924 – September 8, 2009) was an Italian-American television host. After a few experiences in the US, he started working on RAI in the 1950s and was considered to be the most popular host in Italy.
