Jakabaring Sport City
Jakabaring Sport City ''(sic)'', also known as Jakabaring Sports Complex ( id, Kompleks Olahraga Jakabaring) is an integrated sports facility complex in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. The complex is located 5 kilometers southeast of Palembang city center, across the Musi river by the Ampera Bridge in Jakabaring, Seberang Ulu I area. It was the main venue of the 2011 Southeast Asian Games, the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games, the 2014 ASEAN University Games, the 2017 Asian Triathlon Championship and the 2018 Asian Games. Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium, one of the largest stadiums in Indonesia, is located within this complex. Facilities The sports complex was built to host 2004 Pekan Olahraga Nasional, an Indonesian national multi-sport event in which athletes from 34 Indonesian provinces participated. Prima Simpatiaji
Prima Simpatiaji (born 16 October 1981) is a former professional tennis player from Indonesia. Biography A right-handed player, Simpatiaji featured in twelve Davis Cup ties for Indonesia from 2003 to 2009. All of his 20 matches were in singles. Simpatiaji represented Indonesia at tennis in various multi-sport competitions during his career. He won a total of six medals at the Southeast Asian Games, including team gold in 2003, as well as a silver at the 2005 Islamic Solidarity Games and a bronze at the 2007 Summer Universiade, both in the men's doubles. Since retiring from the tennis circuit he has taken up the sport of soft tennis. At the 2011 Southeast Asian Games he won singles, doubles and team gold in his adopted sport. He also competed in soft tennis at the 2014 Asian Games and won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles. Elbert Sie
Alexander Elbert Sie (born 6 September 1987), known as Elbert Sie, is an Indonesian former professional tennis player. After retiring he became a national representative in the sport of soft tennis. Biography Sporting career Born in Bandung, Sie had a best junior world ranking of 63 and appeared in the boys' singles main draw at Wimbledon, before competing professionally at ITF Futures level from 2006 to 2013. Sie reached a career high singles world ranking on the professional tour of 687 and won three Futures doubles titles. At ATP Challenger Level, he made one attempt to qualify, in Bangkok in 2012. Unfortunately, in the first qualifying round, Sie had to retire against Hsin-Han Lee whilst leading 6-2 0-1. As a result, he has never lost a completed set at this level.
