Sofiya Lyskun
Sofiya Lyskun ( uk, Софія Лискун; born 7 February 2002) is a Ukrainian diver, medalist of the European Championships. Career She won a bronze medal in 10-meter platform synchro diving (with Valeriia Liulko) at the 2017 European Diving Championships in Kyiv and a gold in the team event (with Oleh Kolodiy) at the multi-event 2018 European Championships in Glasgow. Lyskun demonstrated her appetite for big meet competition when, aged 15, winning bronze at the 10 metres platform synchro event at the 2017 European Championships in Kiev. In 2018, she performed a difficult dive (a back two-and-a-half somersaults and one-and-a-half twists in pike) for 10 metre board that earned her the highest final round mark of any diver and the gold medal. The 2019 European Diving Championships were held in Kyiv, Ukraine from 5 to 11 August 2019. 2018 European Championships
The 2018 European Championships were the first edition of the European Championships. It was a multi-sport event which took place in Berlin, Germany, and Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom (with Edinburgh hosting the diving events and Gleneagles the golf) from 2 to 12 August 2018. Around 1,500 athletes competed at the European Athletics Championships in Berlin, whilst at the same time more than 3,000 took part in the other championships in Glasgow. Oleh Kolodiy
Oleh Kolodiy ( uk, Олег Колодій; born 16 March 1993) is a Ukrainian diver. Career He began diving at age 12 in Mykolayiv. His coach is Larisa Afanasyeva since then. He debuted internationally in 2012 at FINA Diving Grand Prix. He is also a multiple European championships medalist: in 2013 he won bronze in 3m synchro diving with Oleksandr Gorshkovozov and in 2015 he won bronze in 1m springboard. The 2017 European Diving Championships in home Kyiv was quite successful for Oleh where he won a silver in synchro diving with Illya Kvasha and a bronze in individual 3m springboard diving. The FINA Diving World Cup is an international biennial diving competition that was first contested in The Woodlands, Texas in 1979. The 2012 edition served as Diving's test event for the 2012 Olympics, as well as the final qualifying event for Diving at those Games. Tom Daley (UK, b. 21 May 1994) is the youngest medallist at a FINA Diving World Cup. Diving At The 2018 Summer Youth Olympics
Diving at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 13 to 17 October at the Natatorium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Qualification Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) can enter 2 athletes, 1 in each gender. As hosts, Argentina is given four quotas, 1 for each event. 8 athletes, 2 in each event will be decided by the Tripartite Commission. The remaining 36 places shall be decided at the World Junior Diving Championship. Summer Youth Olympics
The Youth Olympic Games (YOG) is an international multi-sport event for athletes between 15 and 18 years old, organized by the International Olympic Committee. The games are held every four years in staggered summer and winter events consistent with the current Olympic Games format, though in reverse order with Olympic Winter Games held in leap years instead of Summer Olympic Games. The first summer version was held in Singapore from 14 to 26 August 2010 while the first winter version was held in Innsbruck, Austria from 13 to 22 January 2012.
