Sofiivka ( uk, Софіївка; russian: Софиевка) is an urban-type settlement in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Sofiivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Sofiivka is located on the banks of the Kamianka river, a right tributary of the Bazavluk in the basin of the Dnieper. Until 18 July 2020, Sofiivka was the administrative center of Sofiivka Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to seven. The area of Sofiivka Raion was merged into Kryvyi Rih Raion. Economy Transportation Sofiivka is on the H11 highway which connects Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih. Apostolove ( , russian: Апо́столово) is a city in Kryvyi Rih Raion, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Apostolove urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: In 2001, the population was 16,439. A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality.
