Sofia Hultquist
Sofia Hultquist (born February 7, 1986) is an Italian composer and musician. Hultquist is best known for her band ''Drum & Lace'' and for co-scoring the fashion documentary ''The First Monday in May''. She is also known to write music for soundscapes for fashion shows and presentations and is involved heavily in the fashion world. Career After graduating from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring & Composition, Hultquist went on to earn a Masters in Music Technology and Composition from New York University. In 2010 she and her husband Ian Hultquist created their side project 'Aislyn' where they remixed tracks for artists such as Neon Indian, Tokyo Police Club and more. Following that, in late 2013 she founded her one-woman musical project ''Drum & Lace'', which is still active. Tokyo Police Club
Tokyo Police Club is an indie rock band from Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2005, it consists of vocalist and bassist Dave Monks, keyboardist Graham Wright, guitarist Josh Hook, and drummer Greg Alsop. The band found early success with their 2006 debut EP '' A Lesson in Crime,'' which they followed with several popular releases including the albums ''Elephant Shell'' and '' Champ'' in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Neon Indian is an American electronic music band from Denton, Texas. The music is composed by Mexican-born Alan Palomo (born July 24, 1988), who is also known for his work with the band Ghosthustler, and as the solo artist VEGA. Ian Hultquist
Ian Hultquist is an American composer and musician. Hultquist is best known for his score for '' The Diabolical'' and for being a founding member of the band Passion Pit. He is also known for his works on movies such as ''Mommy Dead and Dearest'', ''The First Monday in May'', '' My Blind Brother'' and ''Memoria''. Career After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Hultquist became a founding member of the indie band Passion Pit in 2007 and acted as their music director while on tour. This pulled him away from film composing for awhile and in 2010 he and his wife Sofia Hultquist created their side project 'Aislyn'.
