Soekarwo
Soekarwo (born 16 June 1950), popularly known as Pakde Karwo or Uncle Karwo, is an Indonesian politician and former governor of East Java. In 2019, he was one of nine advisors appointed to President Joko Widodo's Presidential Advisory Council. Biography Soekarwo was educated at State Elementary School Palur (1962), State Junior High School 2 Ponorogo (1965) and Social Senior High School Madiun (1969). He obtained his master's degree in Law at Universitas Airlangga (Surabaya) in (1979), and subsequently his law abschluss at the University of Surabaya (1996), and his doctorate at Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang (2004). Governorship When East Java held a gubernatorial election in 2008, Soekarwo announced his candidacy and was supported by Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) and Partai Demokrat (Democratic Party). Presidential Advisory Council
Presidential Advisory Council (Indonesian: ''Dewan Pertimbangan Presiden'', abbreviated as ''Wantimpres'') is a non-structural government agency that serves as an advisory council for the President of Indonesia. The council was formed in 2007 during the presidency of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and is modelled after the former constitutional Supreme Advisory Council (''Dewan Pertimbangan Agung'') that was disbanded in 2003. Legal basis Article 16 of the Constitution of Indonesia authorise the president to establish an advisory council to support its daily administration. Indonesian Act No.19/2006 provides the legal basis for the advisory council. The law specifies the powers and authorities of the council, as well as its membership, remunerations, and working procedures. Agung Laksono
Agung Laksono (born 23 March 1949) is an Indonesian politician who currently serves as a Member of the Presidential Advisory Council since 13 December 2019. A member of Golkar, he has previously served as Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare in the Second United Indonesia Cabinet and Speaker of the People's Representative Council from 2004 until 2009. Khofifah Indar Parawansa (born 19 May 1965) is an Indonesian politician who is the current Governor of East Java. Previously she served as the 27th Minister of Social Affairs.
