Sociedad Deportiva Huesca
Sociedad Deportiva Huesca, S.A.D., is a Spanish football club in Huesca, in the autonomous community of Aragon. Founded on 29 March 1960, SD Huesca plays in the Segunda División, having played in the Spanish top division for the first time in the club's history in the 2018–19 season, followed by another single season in 2020–21. SD Huesca plays its home games at '' Estadio El Alcoraz'', which seats 9,100 spectators. History The city of Huesca is one of the pioneers in the introduction of football in Aragon. In the beginning of the 20th century (1903) the city already had a society named Foot-ball Oscense. Huesca Fútbol Club was founded in 1910 with Jorge Cajal as the first president. On 10 April 1910 the first formal match was played in the city of Huesca between the teams of the Sertorius Club, formed by high school students, and El Ideal de Magisterio Oscense. Estadio El Alcoraz
Estadio El Alcoraz is a football stadium in the city of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. It serves as the home ground of the city's foremost professional football club, SD Huesca. It was named after the battle of Alcoraz which took place there in 1096. It is located next to San Jorge's hill and it has a capacity of 7,638 people. The architect Raimundo Bambó was in charge of stadium's design and construction. The cost of his work was covered thanks to the efforts of José Maria Mur, the club's president at that time. He was the one who suggested building a stadium and started the project, which lasted for 4 years. The stadium's cost amounted to approximately 15 million pesetas (about 90,000 euros). It was opened on January 16, 1972 with a match between SD Huesca and Deportivo Aragón. In 1986, with the club drowning debts, the stadium went to auction. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. Andrés Eduardo Fernández Moreno (born 17 December 1986) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for SD Huesca as a goalkeeper. He spent most of his career with Osasuna, making his first-team debut in 2007 and going on to appear in 115 official matches. He also played four seasons with Villarreal, having signed in 2016 on loan. Club career Osasuna Fernández was born in Murcia. Juan José 'Juanjo' Camacho Barnola (born 2 August 1980) is a Spanish former footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He spent most of his professional career with Huesca, appearing in more than 400 official matches for the club and in several Segunda División seasons. Antonio Calderón
Antonio Calderón Burgos (born 2 June 1967) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, currently a caretaker manager Challenger Pro League club of Deinze. Over eight seasons, he amassed La Liga totals of 215 games and 18 goals, for Cádiz, Mallorca and Rayo Vallecano. The 2008–09 Segunda División season (known from that season as Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 78th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 30 August 2008, and the season ended on 21 June 2009. Real Zaragoza, Real Murcia and Levante were the teams relegated from La Liga the previous season. Alicante, Girona, Huesca and Rayo Vallecano were the teams promoted from Segunda División B the previous season.
