Soben Huon
Soben Huon Puckhaber is an American beauty queen from Los Angeles, California, who has competed in the Miss USA pageant. Huon won the Miss Utah USA 2006 title in late 2005 in her first attempt. She represented Utah in the Miss USA 2006 pageant broadcast live from Baltimore, Maryland, in April 2006. She was also the first woman of Asian descent to win the Miss Utah USA title. Huon is Cambodian American. The pageant was won by Tara Conner of Kentucky. Miss Utah USA
The Miss Utah USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Utah for the Miss USA pageant. From 2001 to 2007, it was produced by Red Curtain Productions. Casting Crowns Productions directed the pageant from 2007 to 2018 under the directorship of former Miss Missouri USA Britt Boyse. Smoak Productions became the new director for Miss and Teen pageants in 2019 under executive director and Miss USA 1995 Shanna Moakler. Utah has been successful at Miss USA, with 20 placements as of 2009. The most consistent period was in the 1950s and 1960s. Heather Anderson
Heather Anderson (29 July 1994 – 13 November 2022) was an Australian Army soldier and Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's competition in 2017. She served as a medic in the 1st Close Health Battalion. Early AFL career Anderson first played Australian Rules with Sale City Football Club in 2005 (U/12s) having played rugby league for four years with North Canberra Bears in the Canberra Junior Rugby League Competition. Anderson was part of the 2006 Div 2 Sale City (Red) premiership winning team. Marin Morgan Poole is an American teacher and beauty queen from Logan, Utah who has competed in the Miss Teen USA and Miss USA pageants. Poole won the Miss Utah Teen USA 2002 title in a state pageant held in December 2001, competing as Miss Cache Valley Teen USA. She also won the Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic awards in that pageant. Her first runner up was Jessica Dawn Black, who later won the Miss Utah Teen USA 2003 title. Miss USA 2006 was the 55th Miss USA pageant, held at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland on April 21, 2006. Fifty-one state titleholders competed for the title, which was won by Tara Conner of Miss Kentucky USA, Kentucky. Conner was crowned by outgoing titleholder Chelsea Cooley of Miss North Carolina USA, North Carolina. This was the second consecutive year that the pageant was held in Baltimore, although the venue changed from the Hippodrome Theater to the larger 1st Mariner Arena. Delegates arrived in the city on 2 April 2006, and were involved in three weeks of events, appearances and preliminary competitions before the final competition.
