''So Much for the Ten Year Plan: A Retrospective 1990–2000'' is a compilation album by the Northern Irish rock band Therapy? and the second to be released by Ark 21 Records. It was released on 2 October 2000 and allowed the band to fulfill some outstanding obligations to Universal Records. Two new tracks, "Bad Karma Follows You Around" and "Fat Camp", were specially recorded in May 2000 for inclusion on the album. The album reached number 111 in the UK Albums Chart. The album was released on CD only. The UK limited edition contains a bonus disc with six tracks. Therapy?
Therapy? are a Northern Irish rock band from Larne, formed in 1989 by guitarist-vocalist Andy Cairns and drummer-vocalist Fyfe Ewing. Therapy? recorded their first demo with Cairns filling in on bass guitar. To complete the lineup, the band recruited Larne bassist Michael McKeegan. The band signed with major label A&M Records in 1992, for which they released four albums, most notably ''Troublegum'' in 1994 and ''Infernal Love'' in 1995. Ewing's departure in early 1996 preceded the arrivals of his replacement Graham Hopkins, and Martin McCarrick on cello and guitar. Neil Cooper replaced Hopkins on drums in 2002. Following the departure of McCarrick in 2004, the band have remained a stable three-piece since. Therapy? are currently signed to UK independent label Marshall Records. The band has released 15 full-length studio albums and has sold over two million albums worldwide. ''Nurse'' is the first major label album released by the rock band Therapy? It was released in 1992 on A&M Records. Background The album was written in a farm house in County Carlow, Ireland. It was mainly recorded at Loco Studio in Caerleon, Wales, apart from "Gone" which was recorded in Annamoe, Ireland. The album was rated favourably by critics and reached number 38 in the UK Albums Chart. Releases The album was released on 12" vinyl, CD and cassette. In the US, the album was released on limited edition red 12" vinyl, CD and cassette. Fyfe Ewing
Fyfe Alexander Ewing (born 1 November 1970), is best known as the original drummer and founding member of rock band Therapy?. Therapy? In 1989, while playing drums in a punk covers band at a charity gig in Jordanstown, Ewing met Andy Cairns and subsequently formed Therapy? with Cairns on guitar and Michael McKeegan on bass. Ewing and Cairns would share lead vocal duties. In his near seven-year spell with the million selling outfit, Ewing recorded three full-length albums, two mini-albums and numerous EP's (as well as featuring heavily on two compilation albums and a box set following his departure) before leaving the band in January 1996. Martin McCarrick
Martin McCarrick (born 29 July 1962) is an English cellist, keyboardist, guitarist and composer. Aside from being a live and recording artist, he is also a teacher and visiting lecturer in music. Career His first recording in the pop/rock arena was in Marc and the Mambas album ''Torment and Toreros'', back 1983 and he has since maintained an association with Marc Almond. Siouxsie and the Banshees He is known for his work with Siouxsie and the Banshees from 1987 until 1995. He was featured on their 1987 album ''Through the Looking Glass'' and afterwards recorded three full studio albums: ''Peepshow'', '' Superstition'' and '' The Rapture''. In 1991, the single " Kiss Them For Me" reached Number 23 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Graham Hopkins
Graham Hopkins (born 20 December 1975) is an Irish drummer. He was the drummer in The Swell Season, The Frames and rock band Therapy?. Biography Early years Hopkins was born in Dublin and was brought up in Clane, County Kildare in a musical family (his father, Des being a jazz drummer). He was surrounded by music from an early age and began playing the drums at approximately four or five years old. In 1993, he left school to join My Little Funhouse, a band from County Kilkenny. The band had already released their debut album ''Standunder'' on Geffen Records, when Graham joined. The band toured for about a year in support of the album, mainly in the United States. Tours included support to Guns N' Roses and The Ramones amongst others. The band then lived in Los Angeles and recorded a second album for Geffen before imploding. Notable appearances Therapy? Michael McKeegan
Michael McKeegan (born 25 March 1971) is a Northern Irish musician best known as the bassist of rock band Therapy?. Evil Priest In 1988, McKeegan (bass/vocals), along with his two brothers Ciaran (guitar) and Charlie (drums), formed a Heavy metal music, heavy metal band, Evil Priest. The group recorded two demo Cassette tape, cassettes - "Pretention Is No Excuse" and "Hear No Evil...". The fledgling group disbanded in 1989 when Michael McKeegan joined Therapy?. Therapy? In 1989, while McKeegan was still at school, his classmate Fyfe Ewing handed him a four song cassette that he had recorded with Andy Cairns, entitled "Thirty Seconds of Silence". ''Pleasure Death'' is the second mini-album by the Northern Irish rock band Therapy? It was released on 27 January 1992 by Wiiija Records on 12" vinyl. The album was recorded on 14 and 15 August 1991 and mixed on 16 and 17 August 1991 at Southern Studios in London. It reached number 1 on the UK Indie Charts. The mini-album was collected, together with '' Babyteeth'', as the compilation ''Caucasian Psychosis'' in 1992. In 1993, Southern Records re-issued the album on 12" vinyl, CD and cassette. Hüsker Dü () was an American punk rock band formed in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1979. The band's continual members were guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould, bassist/vocalist Greg Norton, and drummer/vocalist Grant Hart. They first gained notability as a hardcore punk band, and later crossed over into alternative rock. Mould and Hart were the band's principal songwriters, with Hart's higher-pitched vocals and Mould's baritone taking the lead in alternating songs. The song was written by drummer Grant Hart, and concerns the murder of West Saint Paul, Minnesota, St. Paul waitress Diane Edwards by Joseph Ture Jr. in 1980.
