Snowboarding At The 2018 Winter Olympics – Women's Parallel Giant Slalom
The women's parallel giant slalom competition of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held on 24 February 2018 Bogwang Phoenix Park in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Qualification The top 32 athletes in the Olympic quota allocation list qualified, with a maximum of four athletes per National Olympic Committee (NOC) allowed. All athletes qualifying must also have placed in the top 30 of a FIS World Cup event or the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2017 during the qualification period (1 July 2016 to 21 January 2018) and also have a minimum of 100 FIS points to compete. Bogwang Phoenix Park

It is located in the township of Bongpyeong-myeon, in the county of Pyeongchang. Julie Zogg (born 1 October 1992) is a Swiss snowboarder, specializing in alpine snowboarding. Career Zogg competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics for Switzerland. She was 3rd in the qualifying run of the parallel giant slalom, but lost in the 1/8 finals to Canada's Ariane Lavigne, finishing 9th. Gloria Kotnik (born 1 June 1989) is a Slovenian snowboarder. She competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics, where she finished 27th in parallel giant slalom. Ina Meschik (born 25 September 1990 in Sankt Veit an der Glan) is an Austrian alpine snowboarder. She represented her nation Austria in two editions of the Olympic Games (2010 and 2014), and eventually claimed a bronze medal in parallel giant slalom at the 2010 FIS Junior World Championships in Lake Wānaka, New Zealand and fourth-place finishes at the FIS World Cup series. Julia Dujmovits (born 12 June 1987) is an Austrian snowboarder. Dujmovits won silver in the parallel giant slalom at the 2013 FIS Snowboarding World Championships. She won a gold in the same discipline at the 2013 Winter Universiade. At the Sochi Olympics in 2014, she became the first Austrian to win gold in snowboarding. She was present at the Kaprun Funicular Disaster on 11 November 2000, a fire which claimed the lives of 155 people including Julia's friends and teammates.
