''Snow Job'' is a 1972 American independent film, independent thriller film directed by George Englund and starring Jean-Claude Killy, Danièle Gaubert, Vittorio De Sica, Lelio Luttazzi, and Cliff Potts. Premise A skiing instructor in the Italian Alps robs the winter resort where he works with the help of a down-on-his-luck ski-racer. George Englund
George Englund (June 22, 1926 – September 14, 2017) was an American film editor, director, producer, and actor. Biography Englund was born George Howe Ripley in Washington, D.C., the son of actress Mabel Albertson and Harold Austin Ripley. His uncle was actor Jack Albertson. After his parents divorced, his mother married Ken Englund, whose surname young George adopted. Englund was married to actress Cloris Leachman from 1953 to 1979. They had five children: Adam, Bryan (died 1986), George, Jr., Morgan and Dinah. His mother was Jewish. On April 10, 1980, he married actress Bonnie Graves. They had two children: Graves and Max (died 1993). The couple divorced in 1992. For the last ten years of his life, his companion was Frances Bowes, art collector, patron and vice-chairlady at Dia Center for the Arts. Delia Boccardo
Delia Boccardo (born 29 January 1948) is an Italian film, television and stage actress. Life and career Born in Genoa, Boccardo spent her childhood and adolescence in Nervi, then studied at a Swiss college, at the Poggio Imperiale girls' school and, for about three years, at a college in Sussex, England. In 1965 she moved to Rome where she attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Boccardo made her film debut in 1966, in the Spaghetti Western '' Death Walks in Laredo''; she made her stage debut in 1967, alongside Raf Vallone in ''Uno sguardo dal ponte''. From the mid-1980s she focused her appearances on stage, where she worked intensively with Luca Ronconi, and on television. Gigi Ballista (1 December 1918 – 2 August 1980) was an Italian film and television actor. He appeared in 60 films between 1961 and 1980. Life and career Born in Florence, Ballista graduated in Law, then he started working as a PR consultant in the field of advertising and industrial documentaries. He debuted as an actor at a mature age in the early 1960s with some minor roles, but his breakout came in 1966 with a role of weight in Pietro Germi's ''The Birds, the Bees and the Italians''. Following the critical and commercial success of the film, Ballista decided to pursue a professional career as an actor, and he became, mainly thanks to his characteristic hoarse and dysphonic voice, one of the most recognizable character actors in Italian cinema and television. After he worked in the cinema as stuntman, Prete went to Alessandro Fersen Alessandro Fersen (5 December 1911 – 3 October 2001) was a Polish-born Italian dramatist, actor, theater director, author and drama teacher. Umberto D'Orsi (30 July 1929 – 31 August 1976) was an Italian character actor and comedian. Born in Trieste, D'Orsi took a degree in law in 1953, but he was already active in theater from 1950, performing in small companies of prose and revue. From 1962 till his death, D'Orsi was a prolific supporting actor, appearing in as many as fifteen films a year. He died in Rome at 47 from kidney failure.
