Song Kyung-ho ( ko, 송경호; born June 30, 1995), better known as Smeb, is a South Korean former professional ''League of Legends'' player. Career Song began competing in ''League of Legends'' in 2012. He joined the Tigers in 2014, upon the team's formation. Smeb got his first penta kill recorder of top solo laner; on June 13, 2015, he achieved his penta kill by playing Riven against Jin Air Greenwings. KOO Tigers finished second at the 2015 League of Legends World Championship. He was named MVP of the 2016 LCK season. Before the beginning of the 2016 League of Legends World Championship, he was ranked the No. 1 player in the world by the Worlds analysts and the No. 2 player in the world by ESPN. ROX Tigers
Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) is a South Korean esports organization based in Seoul, owned by Hanwha Life Insurance. It has teams competing in ''League of Legends'' and ''Kart Rider'', with the former competing in the LCK, South Korea's top level professional league for the game. In middle 2018, HLE acquired the League of Legends team and LCK spot of Tigers. ''League of Legends'' Champions Korea (LCK) is the primary competition for ''League of Legends'' esports in South Korea. Contested by ten teams, the league runs two seasons per year and serves as a direct route to qualification for the annual ''League of Legends'' World Championship. The LCK is administered in cooperation between Riot Games and KeSPA. The league was formerly named ''League of Legends'' Champions before undergoing a major restructuring in late 2014, which saw a change in the competition's format and a rebranding to its current name.
