Stefan Sagmeister (born August 6, 1962) is an Austrian graphic designer, storyteller, and typographer based in New York City. In 1993, Sagmeister founded his company, Sagmeister Inc., to create designs for the music industry. He has designed album covers for Lou Reed, OK Go, The Rolling Stones, David Byrne, Jay Z, Aerosmith, Talking Heads, Brian Eno and Pat Metheny. From 2011 until 2019 he partnered with Jessica Walsh under the name Sagmeister & Walsh Inc. 2nd Shorty Awards
Voting for the second Shorty Awards opened on January 5, 2010, in 26 official categories. A Real-Time Photo of the Year category was added to the list of official categories for the first time, recognizing the best photo posted to services such as Twitpic, Yfrog, or Facebook. Daniel Burka (born December 17, 1978 in Canada) is best known as the former creative director for website Digg and as a design partner at GV. He is also a founding partner at the web design company ''silverorange'' based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. At ''silverorange'' Burka worked with Mozilla on the original Firefox brand as part of a team including Jon Hicks called the Mozilla Visual Identity Team. Jon Burgerman is an English artist living in, New York, US. Life and work Jon Burgerman studied art foundation in Bournville, Birmingham, England.
