Smashed (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
"Smashed" is the 9th episode of season 6 of the television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. Plot Whilst trying to help Buffy defend a couple from two muggers, Spike confronts Buffy on their previous two kisses; she refuses to discuss the matter and he gets frustrated, telling her she is still not admitting her feelings towards him. In a comical scene resembling a famous sequence from the '' Mission: Impossible'' films, Warren, Jonathan and Andrew steal a large diamond from a museum, leaving its sole guard frozen by their freeze-ray. As Buffy rushes to the scene, Spike again asks her about the last kiss; she says she was on edge due to Giles' decision to leave and apologizes for leading him on. Spike remains unconvinced and tries to coax her until she punches him; he punches her back and discovers that the chip in his head gives him no pain when he hits her. The fourth season of the television comedy series ''Arrested Development'' premiered on Netflix on May 26, 2013 and consists of 15 episodes. It serves as a revival to the series after it was canceled by Fox in 2006. The storyline centers on the Bluth family, a formerly wealthy, habitually dysfunctional family, and the show incorporates hand-held camera work, narration, archival photos, and historical footage. Unlike other seasons, each episode of the fourth season occurs over approximately the same stretch of time, but focuses on a different character. Information on events depicted in a given episode is often partial and filled in by later episodes. ''Smashed'' is a 2012 American drama film directed by James Ponsoldt, written by Ponsoldt and Susan Burke, and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aaron Paul. Winstead and Paul play a married couple, Kate and Charlie Hannah, both alcoholics. After a series of embarrassing incidents caused by her drinking habit, Kate decides to get sober with the help of a coworker and a sponsor from Alcoholics Anonymous. The script was partly based on Burke's own experience of giving up alcohol at a young age, since she felt that her narrative had not yet been told on film. She and Ponsoldt wrote the script over six months, and the main roles were cast in September 2011. The film's US$500,000 budget was financed by independent investors including Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf. It was shot in Los Angeles in October 2011. ''The Black Crown'' (stylized as ''THE BLΔCK CRΦWN'') is the third studio album by American deathcore band Suicide Silence, which was released July 12, 2011 through Century Media Records. It is the final album to feature vocalist Mitch Lucker, who died on November 1, 2012. With anticipation for their third full-length after the release of ''No Time to Bleed'', Suicide Silence prepared recording for ''The Black Crown'' on a course of several months starting from the beginning of 2010 with writing ideas and plans before their arrival to the studio for recording in 2011. The album was produced by Steve Evetts. Lyrical themes Vocalist Mitch Lucker revealed that the controversial anti-religious lyrics that were included on Suicide Silence's previous albums would not be included on ''The Black Crown''.
