Gábor Szabó
Gábor István Szabó (March 8, 1936 – February 26, 1982) was a Hungarian-American guitarist whose style incorporated jazz, pop, rock, and Music of Hungary, Hungarian music. Early years Szabó was born in Budapest, Budapest, Hungary. He began playing guitar at the age of 14. In the aftermath of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, Hungarian revolution of 1956, he moved to California, United States, and later attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston between 1958 and 1960. In a 1974 interview, Szabo said he fell in love with jazz listening to Voice of America: "I had to listen to the jazz stations very quietly at night--if they were not jammed--because listening to music from the Western world was an offense against the government." When the Soviet Union militarily suppressed Hungarian insurgents, Szabo was twenty. He escaped to an Austrian refugee camp, later emigrating to San Bernardino. Joaquín Rodrigo
Joaquín Rodrigo Vidre, 1st Marquess of the Gardens of Aranjuez (; 22 November 1901 – 6 July 1999), was a Spanish composer and a virtuoso pianist. He is best known for composing the '' Concierto de Aranjuez'', a cornerstone of the classical guitar repertoire. Life Rodrigo was born in Sagunto, Province of Valencia. At the age of three, he lost his sight completely after contracting diphtheria. At the age of eight he began to study solfège, piano, and violin and from the age of 16 he studied harmony and composition. He wrote his compositions in Braille and they were transcribed for publication. Although distinguished by having raised the Spanish guitar to dignity as a universal concert instrument and being best known for his guitar music, he never mastered playing the instrument. Electric Piano
An electric piano is a musical instrument that has a piano-style musical keyboard, where sound is produced by means of mechanical hammers striking metal strings or reeds or wire tines, which leads to vibrations which are then converted into electrical signals by pickups (either magnetic, electrostatic, or piezoelectric). The pickups are connected to an instrument amplifier and loudspeaker to reinforce the sound sufficiently for the performer and audience to hear. Berndt Erik Egerbladh (May 1, 1932 – March 2, 2004) was a Swedish jazz pianist, composer and television personality. Biography Egerbladh was born in Transtrand. He grew up in Umeå and performed in local jazz and dance orchestras. He graduated as a teacher in 1954 and 1959, worked as such 1955–1967 and completed his education as a TV producer in 1969. He was a producer at Swedish Radio's Channel 4 för Västerbotten 1967–1969, at Channel 2 television 1969–1985 and worked for SVT as a producer also hosting programs such as ''Två och en flygel (Two and a Grand Piano)''. He also published books, ''Remembering the 1940s'' and ''Remembering the 1950s'', named for two TV series so titled along with one remembering the 1960s. Janne Schaffer
Jan Erik Tage "Janne" Schaffer (born 24 September 1945) is a Swedish songwriter and guitarist. He is best known for his work as a session guitarist for ABBA but he has also recorded with artists such as Bob Marley, Johnny Nash, Art Farmer and Tony Williams. He also played at the 1977 Montreux Jazz Festival. Schaffer's 1979 album ''Earmeal'' included session work from brothers Jeff, Steve and Mike Porcaro, as well as their father, Joe Porcaro. This is one of the few instances where the entire Porcaro family appears together on one album, the most well-known examples being Toto's ''Toto IV'' and ''The Seventh One''. Schaffer is a member of the Electric Banana Band where he plays guitar as the character 'Zebra'. He also performs with the group ''The Night Agent''.
