Small Gods (film)
''Small Gods'' is a 2007 Belgian thriller film written and directed by Dimitri Karakatsanis, in his feature film debut. The film premiered in the International Critics' Week section of the 64th Venice International Film Festival, 64th edition of the Venice Film Festival. Plot In the film, Elena (the main character) is kidnapped by Good Samaritan David after a suicidal car accident kills her son. Sara (a mute who escaped an insane asylum) joins them on their journey. During their journey, the three main characters strive for redemption while taking care of each other along the way. Titus De Voogdt
Titus De Voogdt (born July 4, 1979) is a Belgian actor. Biography De Voogdt earned a master's degree in sculpture at the Sint-Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent. He started his acting career in theater and is mainly known for his performances in various plays. One of the first and more recognizable plays include ''Bernadetje'' (Victoria), ''Mijn Blackie'' (HETPALEIS & Nieuwpoorttheater), ''Achter de wereld'' (BRONKS) and ''Maria eeuwigdurende bijstand / Marie éternelle consolation'' (Dastheater & Theater Zuidpool). Under Compagnie Cecilia he played in such noteworthy plays as ''Trouwfeesten en processen'', ''Altijd Prijs'' and ''Poepsimpel''. In cinema he has appeared in '' Any Way the Wind Blows'' (directed by Tom Barman), as Steve in ''Steve + Sky'' (directed by Felix Van Groeningen) in ''Ben X'' (directed by Nic Balthazar) and ''Small Gods'' (Dimitri Karakatsanis).
