Josef Sloup known as Štaplík (19 December 1897 - 1952) was a former Czechoslovakia, Czechoslovak association football, football Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Sloup (Blansko District)
Sloup is a market town in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,000 inhabitants. Geography Sloup is located about northeast of Blansko and north of Brno. It lies in the Drahany Highlands. The highest point is the hill Bučí at above sea level. Sloup lies on the northern border of the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area. In the municipality is located part of the ''Sloupsko-šošůvské jeskyně'' Nature Reserve ("Sloup-Šošůvka Caves"). History The first written mention of Sloup is from 1373. Sloup V Čechách
Sloup v Čechách (german: Bürgstein) is a municipality and village in Česká Lípa District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants. The area of the village is well preserved and is protected by law as a village monument zone. Geography Sloup v Čechách is located about northeast of Česká Lípa and west of Liberec.
