Slobodan Vučeković
Slobodan Vučeković (Serbian Cyrillic: Слободан Вучековић; born 15 December 1953) is a Montenegrin football manager and former player. Playing career Born in Danilovgrad, SR Montenegro, SFR Yugoslavia, he played most of the 1970s with FK Vojvodina in the Yugoslav First League, although he also had a spell in between with NK Maribor during the early 1970s. In NK Maribor he played 58 matches scoring 26 goals. While playing with Vojvodina he won the Mitropa Cup in 1977. In 1979, he moved abroad to France and played one season with SC Bastia in the Ligue 1. Later in 1981 he joined Greek top-tier club Alpha Ethniki where he stayed until 1984. Danilovgrad
Danilovgrad ( cnr, Даниловград) is a town in central Montenegro. It has a population of 6,852 (2011 census). It is situated in the Danilovgrad Municipality which lies along the main route between Montenegro's two largest cities, Podgorica and Nikšić. Via villages, Danilovgrad forms part of a conurbation with Podgorica. The town of Danilovgrad is located in the fertile valley of the Zeta River, sometimes called also the Bjelopavlići plain, after the name of the local clan. It is the centre of the Danilovgrad municipality, which has a population of 18,472. History In the surroundings of Danilovgrad, there are remains of Gradina (Martinići), dating back to the time of the Serbian ruler Petar Gojniković, from the Vlastimirović dynasty. Mitropa Cup
The Mitropa Cup, officially called the La Coupe de l'Europe Centrale or Central European Cup, was one of the first international major European football cups for club sides. It was conducted among the successor states of the former Austria-Hungary. After World War II in 1951 a replacement tournament named ''Zentropa Cup'' was held, but just for one season, the Mitropa Cup name was revived, and again in 1958 the name of the tournament changed to ''Danube Cup'' but only for one season. 1998–99 Cypriot Cup
The 1998–99 Cypriot Cup was the 57th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 50 clubs entered the competition. It began on 14 November 1998 with the preliminary round and concluded on 8 May 1999 with the final that was held at Tsirion Stadium. APOEL won their 17th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Anorthosis 2–0 in the final. Format In the 1998–99 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division, the Cypriot Second Division, the Cypriot Third Division and 8 of the 15 teams of the Cypriot Fourth Division. The competition consisted of six knock-out rounds. In the preliminary round and in the first round each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of the one of the two teams, according to the draw results. The Cypriot Cup () is the main cup competition in Cypriot football, run by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). It began in 1934, the same season with the Cypriot Championship. UEFA Intertoto Cup
The UEFA Intertoto Cup (from la, Inter, 'between' + german: toto, 'betting pool'),Most precisely, from (football pool); cf. often abbreviated and more known in the German-speaking world as UI Cup and originally called the International Football Cup, was a summer football competition. The competition was discontinued after the 2008 tournament. Teams who originally would have entered the Intertoto Cup now directly enter the qualifying stages of the UEFA Europa League from this point. The tournament was founded in 1961–62, but was only taken over by UEFA in 1995. Initially, the tournament ended with a single champion, who received the Intertoto Cup. Starting in 1967, the tournament ended with a number of group winners (7 to 14 winners, see below), who received cash prizes.
