Slobodan Pavković
Slobodan Pavković (, ; born 24 October 1955) is a Serbian former football manager and player. Club career Born in Novi Sad, Pavković started out at his hometown club Vojvodina, making his Yugoslav First League debut in 1974. He helped the team win the 1976–77 Mitropa Cup. In 1978, Pavković was signed by Partizan, spending the next five seasons with the Belgrade club. He made two appearances in the title-winning 1982–83 season. After a brief spell at Galenika Zemun in the Yugoslav Second League, Pavković moved abroad to Sweden and joined Degerfors IF. International career At international level, Pavković played for the Yugoslavia under-18s at the 1974 UEFA European Under-18 Championship, where they lost 1–0 in the final to Bulgaria. He was later a member of the Yugoslavia under-21 team that won the 1978 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. Novi Sad ( sr-Cyrl, Нови Сад, ; hu, Újvidék, ; german: Neusatz; see below for other names) is the second largest city in Serbia and the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina. Fanja Sports Club ( ar, نادي فنجاء الرياضي; also known locally as ''Al-Malik'', or "The King" because of their great success, or just plainly as Fanja) is an Omani sports club based in Fanja, Oman. Đorđe Balašević
Đorđe Balašević ( sr-Cyrl, Ђорђе Балашевић; 11 May 1953 – 19 February 2021) was a Serbian and Yugoslav singer and songwriter, writer, poet and director. He began his career in the late 1970s as a member of the band Rani Mraz, transitioning after two albums to a solo career. He first gained mainstream prominence for writing Rani Mraz's hit "Računajte na nas" (Count on Us), which was often described as an anthem of a generation. Noted for his vivid lyricism and poetry, Balašević was also known for weaving political commentary into his songs and live performance. Broadly supportive of South Slavic unity in late 1970s and early 1980s, in the lead up to the Yugoslav wars he began to criticise the authorities. Mitropa Cup
The Mitropa Cup, officially called the La Coupe de l'Europe Centrale or Central European Cup, was one of the first international major European football cups for club sides. It was conducted among the successor states of the former Austria-Hungary. After World War II in 1951 a replacement tournament named ''Zentropa Cup'' was held, but just for one season, the Mitropa Cup name was revived, and again in 1958 the name of the tournament changed to ''Danube Cup'' but only for one season. 1973–74 Yugoslav First League (Prva savezna liga Jugoslavije, Prvenstvo 1973/74) competition was the 46th top league season since 1923 in various incarnations of Yugoslavia. It was won by Hajduk Split by the tightest of margins over second placed Velež. The two teams were tied on points at the end of the season, so the goal difference decided the title. Had the current three-points-for-a-win system been in use instead of the standard two-points-for-a-win that was used at the time, Velež Mostar would have been champions with 64 points, while Hajduk would have been be second with 63. This was Hajduk's 7th league title overall (their 5th after the World War II).
