Christopher Jon Slayton (born August 6, 1996) is an American football defensive end for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Syracuse Orange football, Syracuse. Professional career New York Giants Slayton was drafted by the New York Giants in the seventh round, 245th overall, of the 2019 NFL Draft. He was waived on August 31, 2019, and was signed to the practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on December 27, 2019. Darius Slayton (born January 12, 1997) is an American football wide receiver for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Auburn and was drafted by the Giants in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Deke Slayton
Donald Kent "Deke" Slayton (March 1, 1924 – June 13, 1993) was a United States Air Force pilot, aeronautical engineer, and test pilot who was selected as one of the original NASA Mercury Seven astronauts. He went on to become NASA's first Chief of the Astronaut Office and Director of Flight Crew Operations, responsible for NASA crew assignments. Slayton joined the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II, and flew in Europe and the Pacific. He left the Army after World War II, went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from University of Minnesota in 1949, and later joined the Minnesota Air National Guard after working for Boeing as an aeronautical engineer. He joined the United States Air Force, and attended the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School in 1955. Robert Michael Slayton (born May 25, 1955) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. Slayton is probably best known for a supporting role in the 2001 film '' Bandits'', and as a frequent guest on '' The Adam Carolla Show'' (2006-2009).
