Slavic Union (Russia)
National Socialist Movement "Slavic Union" (russian: Национал-социалистическое движение «Славянский союз», Natsional-sotsialisticheskoye dvizheniye «Slavyanskiy soyuz») was a Russian neo-Nazi organization founded in 1999 by Dmitry Demushkin. In 2010, it was banned by the Moscow City Court. The group's website, in Russian, links to extensive material on Holocaust denial and to works by Adolf Hitler. Its organizational logo was a stylized swastika and the group's initials, "SS" in Russian, are the same as those used by the German Schutzstaffel during World War II. The party was also notorious for promoting a far-right, "Aryan" tradition of Slavic paganism. The organisation was described as ultranationalist and anti-Semitic. SlavS
Slavs are the largest European ethnolinguistic group. They speak the various Slavic languages, belonging to the larger Balto-Slavic branch of the Indo-European languages. The Russian All-National Union (RONS; russian: Русский общенациональный союз; РОНС; ''Russkiy obshchenatsionalnyy soyuz'', ''RONS'') - is a Russian Pan-Slavic Orthodox political movement which has been founded in 1990. From 1995 RONS took part in State and local elections and its representatives became the members of local parliaments in Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Vladimir, and Tula Regions. The members of the organization represent RONS and Russian nationalist ideology in municipal legislatures in more than twelve regions of Russia, including in: Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Stavropol, and Rostov.
