Skynd (band)
Skynd (stylised as SKYND) is an Australian industrial rock band consisting of lead singer, Skynd, and multi-instrumentalist, Father. They have pioneered the genre of true crime music with a grim aesthetic and songs largely based on disturbing deaths and murders. They have released songs about topics such as the death of Elisa Lam, the manslaughter of Conrad Roy, the mass suicide in Jonestown, the Columbine High School massacre, and murderers such as Gary M. Heidnik, Armin Meiwes, Chris Watts, and Katherine Knight. History Skynd is known for her diverse vocal styles – ranging from high pitch to low pitch and often with an inhuman element. Notably, Jonathan Davis of Korn is also a fan of true crime and joined Skynd in her song, "Gary Heidnik". Davis appeared in the music video as well. Watts Family Murders
In the early hours of August 13, 2018, in Frederick, Colorado, American oil field operator Christopher Lee Watts (born May 16, 1985) murdered his pregnant wife Shanann (34) by strangulation, and their two children Bella (4) and Celeste (3) by smothering them. He buried Shanann in a shallow grave near an oil-storage facility, and dumped his children's bodies into crude oil tanks. Watts initially maintained his innocence in his family’s disappearance, but was arrested on August 15 after confessing to murdering Shanann in an interview with detectives. He later admitted to murdering his children. On November 6, 2018, Watts pleaded guilty to multiple counts of first-degree murder as part of a plea deal when the death penalty (which was later abolished in Colorado in 2020) was removed from sentencing. Kool-Aid is an American brand of flavored drink mix owned by Kraft Heinz based in Chicago, Illinois. The powder form was created by Edwin Perkins in 1927 based upon a liquid concentrate called Fruit Smack. History Kool-Aid was invented by Edwin Perkins in Hastings, Nebraska.
