''Skylab X'' is the ninth studio album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the final installment of his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums. It was self-released in 2011, but originally recorded in 2008. A music video was made for the track "Eu Não Consigo Sair Daqui". The album can be downloaded for free on Skylab's official website. Critical reception Writing for blog Miojo Indie, Fernanda Blammer gave the album a positive review, rating it with a 7 out of 10. Rogério Tolomei Teixeira (born September 2, 1956), better known by his stage name Rogério Skylab, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, lyricist, classical guitarist, poet, essayist, record producer, actor and former television presenter. His unique musical style is characterized by minimalism and eclecticism, and his lyrics are permeated by acerbic allusions to popular culture, pessimism, scatology, nihilism and black comedy (he has, however, always denied that his songs have humorous purposes). ''Skylab III'' is the third studio album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the third in his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums. It was self-released in 2002. Skylab acknowledges that ''Skylab III'' was heavily influenced, both lyrically and musically, by one of his greatest idols, outsider musician Damião Experiença; the album was dedicated to him, and the track "Esqueletos" opens up with a lengthy sample of one of Damião's songs. "Blues do Para-Choque", originally featured on Skylab's debut ''Fora da Grei'', was re-recorded for this release. "Cântico dos Cânticos" contains numerous samples from Rogério Sganzerla's 1968 film ''The Red Light Bandit'' and Arrigo Barnabé's song "Clara Crocodilo". Sertão
The ''sertão'' (, plural ''sertões'') is the "hinterland" or "backcountry". In Brazil, it refers both to one of the four sub-regions of the Northeast Region of Brazil (similar to the specific association of "outback" with Australia in English) or the hinterlands of the country in general. Northeast Brazil is largely covered in a scrubby upland forest called a '' caatingas.'' Its borders are not precise. Zumbi
Zumbi (1655 – November 20, 1695), also known as Zumbi dos Palmares (), was a Brazilian quilombola leader, being one of the pioneers of resistance to slavery of Africans by the Portuguese in colonial Brazil. He was also the last of the kings of the Quilombo dos Palmares, a settlement of Afro-Brazilian people who had liberated themselves from enslavement, in the present-day state of Alagoas, Brazil. Zumbi today is revered in Afro-Brazilian culture as a powerful symbol of resistance against the enslavement of Africans in the colony of Brazil. ''Skylab VI'' is the sixth studio album by the Brazilian musician Rogério Skylab, the sixth in his series of ten eponymous, numbered albums. Self-released in 2006, it is so far Skylab's longest album, totaling 19 tracks, and was responsible for spawning one of his most famous compositions, "Dedo, Língua, Cu e Boceta". During one of the album's recording sessions, while heading to the studio, Skylab tripped, fell down and broke his jaw; a photograph of him in bandages, taken hours after the surgery he had to undergo, was used as the cover art. A live version of the track "Cu e Boca" previously appeared on ''Skylab II''. "Hino Nacional do Skylab" is sung to the tune of the Brazilian National Anthem.
