SkyBridge Capital is a global investment firm based in New York City, United States. It is run by founder Anthony Scaramucci, Brett S. Messing, Raymond Nolte and Troy Gaveski. SkyBridge produces the SkyBridge Alternatives Conference, or "SALT" Conference, a capital introduction convention. In addition to its annual flagship event in Las Vegas, SALT has hosted conferences in Singapore, Tokyo and Abu Dhabi. It has offices located in New York and Florida. History SkyBridge Capital was founded in 2005 by Anthony Scaramucci, the co-founder of Oscar Capital Management. In June 2010, SkyBridge acquired Citigroup Alternative Investments Hedge Fund Management Group. Skybridge (TransLink)
The SkyBridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Built between 1987 and 1989, it spans the Fraser River and connects New Westminster with Surrey, British Columbia, Surrey. The SkyBridge opened for revenue use on March 16, 1990, with the second half of the Phase II extension of SkyTrain to Scott Road station. History Construction of the bridge began on October 28, 1987. The first half of the bridge heading towards Surrey, British Columbia, Surrey was completed first, with the New Westminster half being completed on March 19, 1990. The bridge was manufactured by Hyundai Engineering & Construction and a Chilliwack-based construction company with a total cost of Canadian dollar, CAD$28 million, or $ in dollars. Skyway
A skyway, skybridge, skywalk, or sky walkway is an elevated type of pedway connecting two or more buildings in an urban area, or connecting elevated points within mountainous recreational zones. Urban skyways very often take the form of enclosed or covered footbridges that protect pedestrians from the weather. Open-top modern skyways in mountains now often have glass bottoms. Sometimes enclosed urban skywalks are made almost totally from glass, including ceilings, walls and floors. Also, some urban skyways function strictly as linear parks designed for walking. In North America skyways are usually owned by businesses, and are therefore not public spaces (compare with sidewalk). The Great Smoky Mountains (, ''Equa Dutsusdu Dodalv'') are a mountain range rising along the Tennessee–North Carolina border in the southeastern United States. They are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains, and form part of the Blue Ridge Physiographic Province. The range is sometimes called the Smoky Mountains and the name is commonly shortened to the Smokies. The Great Smokies are best known as the home of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which protects most of the range.
