''Skorokoro'' is a 2016 South African TV Film directed by Darrell Roodt. It was nominated for a Golden Horn award in 2017. The film was produced by Phoenix films in South Africa. The movie was originally planned as a big screen production but failed to make the grade and was reduced to airing only as a local TV production. Plot Happiness and Rose fall in love in a small village in South Africa. They would like to get married, but their families keep that from happening. Reine Swart
Reine Swart (née Malan; born 17 May 1990) is a South African director, writer and actress. She starred in the Afrikaans surf film ''Die Pro'' (2015). She appeared alongside Tye Sheridan, Bel Powley and Emory Cohen in the film ''Detour'' (2016). Darrell James Roodt (born in Johannesburg, 28 April 1962) is a South African film director, screenwriter and producer. He is probably most well known for his 1992 film '' Sarafina!'' which starred actress Whoopi Goldberg.
