Olga Sjøgren
Olga Pauline Sjøgren (née Hagen, August 9, 1884 – November 8, 1960) was a Norwegian actress and singer. She excelled as a revue actress and operetta singer, and she became involved early in film. She was also known as Olga Almquist. Family Olga Sjøgren was the daughter of the tailor Erik Hagen and his Swedish-born wife Kristine Andersdotter. She married the actor Carl Johan Olaf Almquist (1879–1914) on June 28, 1902, and they had two sons. She then married the actor Josef Peder Marcus Sjøgren (1891–1927). Birger Løvaas
Birger Løvaas (November 24, 1901 – June 5, 1977) was a Norwegian actor and comedian. Løvaas played Karl Anton over 2,000 times in Gideon Wahlberg's play ''Skjærgårdsflirt'' from 1928 to 1944, and he traveled throughout Norway with his theater. ''Skjærgårdsflirt'' was the most frequently viewed play of the twentieth century in Norway. Løvaas also played Karl Anton in the film version of ''Skjærgårdsflirt'' in 1932. After the Second World War, Løvaas was engaged with both the People's Theater and the Oslo New Theater. He also appeared in the radio play ''Dickie Dick Dickens''. Astrid Schwab (née Leikvang, June 18, 1907 – November 2, 1997) was a Norwegian actress and stage director. Schwab was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), the daughter of the actor Ole Leikvang. She made her artistic breakthrough in 1934 at the Ole Bull Theater in Bergen. Schwab was later employed at the National Theater in Bergen, except for a stay at the New Theater from 1935 to 1936. Her major roles included Inès in Jean-Paul Sartre's '' No Exit'', Rebekka West in Henrik Ibsen's '' Rosmersholm'', the mother in Ibsen's '' Brand'', and Lavinia in Nils Kjær's ''Det lykkelige valg''. Finn Bernhoft
Finn Hugo Bernhoft (February 6, 1898 – April 27, 1981) was a Norwegian theater and film actor. Bernhoft was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. He debuted in 1917 in Edvard Drabløs's touring theater, and he started working with the Trondheim National Theater that same year. He later played at Chat Noir, the Carl Johan Theater, and the Central Theater, and from 1948 to 1958 he was engaged with the Trøndelag Theater. In addition to many roles in comedies, operettas, and musicals, he won acclaim as Morten Kiil in Henrik Ibsen's '' An Enemy of the People'' and as the riding master in August Strindberg's '' The Father''. Life Breistein was born in Åsane in the city of Bergen in Hordaland county, Norway. He was a farmer's son and learned to play fiddle in his youth, playing for dances at weddings in Western Norway. Vilhelm Lund
Vilhelm Lund, sometimes credited as Wilhelm Lund (April 7, 1900 – January 7, 1982), was a Norwegian actor. Lund was primarily a theater actor. After a study visit to Oxford in 1919 and preparatory studies, he made his theatrical debut in Frank Wedekind's 1891 drama '' Spring Awakening''. He performed at the experimental Intimate Theater ( no, Intimteatret) in 1922, during the one season it was active. From 1924 to 1934 he was at the Central Theater, the Norwegian Theater, and Søilen Theater. After a pause from 1934 to 1945, he was again engaged with the Norwegian Theater in 1945. Gunnar Nilsen-Vig
Gunnar Nilsen-Vig (September 20, 1886 – July 8, 1959) was a Norwegian cinematographer, scriptwriter, and film director. Nilsen-Vig came into contact with the director Rasmus Breistein via the company Kommunenes Filmcentral. He became Breistein's permanent cinematographer and was involved in most of Breistein's films, from '' Fante-Anne'' (1920) to ''Trysil-Knut'' (1942). He also worked as a cinematographer for other directors, including for the Norwegian–German film ''The Woman in the Advocate's Gown'' (1929, directed by Adolf Trotz). Kristian Hefte (April 28, 1905 – February 24, 1977) was a Norwegian actor. Gideon Wahlberg
Gideon Wahlberg (18 June 1890 – 3 May 1948) was a Swedish actor, screenwriter, film director and theater manager. Wahlberg directed six films including '' South of the Highway'' (1936). Wahlberg was the theater manager of the Arbisteatern in Norrköping from 1918-1931 and 1933–1934. Biography Wahlberg was the son of a tailor and grew up with several siblings in Östermalm in Stockholm.
