Skiff is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada within the County of Forty Mile No. 8. It is located on Highway 61, also known as the historic Red Coat Trail, approximately southeast of Lethbridge. Milk River is a town in Alberta, Canada that is named after the Milk River which flows immediately to its south. This location results in Milk River being one of the few Canadian communities within the Mississippi River drainage system. It is south of Lethbridge, and from the Canada-U.S. border. Foremost is a village in Alberta, Canada. It is located southwest of Medicine Hat, along the Alberta Highway 61, Red Coat Trail, in the County of Forty Mile No. 8. Foremost has a strong agriculture industry. Recreation facilities include an ice arena, swimming pool, curling rink, ice fishing, and ball diamonds. Every June the residents hold a parade, rodeo and tough truck competition. Hockey is a big sport in Foremost. The local team is called the Foremost Flyers. They have multiple provincial and regional titles. The school has a long history of winning sports teams. Taber is a town in southern Alberta, Canada that is surrounded by the Municipal District of Taber. It is approximately east of the City of Lethbridge at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 36. Taber is famous for its corn due to the large amounts of sunshine the area receives. It is therefore known as the ''Corn Capital of Canada'' and holds an annual " Cornfest" in the last week of August. History Originally, Taber was known as "Tank No. 77," and was used by the railway to fill up on water.
