Colin Skeaping (born 18 June 1944) is a stuntman with a long career in Hollywood stunts. He was the stunt double for Mark Hamill's role as Luke Skywalker in all three original ''Star Wars'' films. He was also a stunt double in other noteworthy film series such as the '' James Bond'' and ''Superman'' movies. John Skeaping
John Rattenbury Skeaping, RA (9 June 1901 – 5 March 1980) was an English sculptor and equine painter and sculptor. He designed animal figures for Wedgwood, and his life-size statue of Secretariat is exhibited at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. Biography Born in South Woodford, Essex, Skeaping was the eldest son of the painter Kenneth Mathieson Skeaping and studied at Goldsmiths College in London, the Central School of Arts and Crafts between 1917 and 1919 and later at the Royal Academy until 1920. In 1924, he won the British Prix de Rome and its scholarship to the British School at Rome.̣ Skeaping was the first husband of the sculptor Barbara Hepworth, whom he met while studying in Rome. They married in May 1925 in Florence. The couple had a joint exhibition in 1928 at the Alex Reid and Lefevre Gallery in Glasgow. Kenneth Mathiason Skeaping (13 December 185616 May 1946) was an English lithographer, portrait painter and illustrator. His three children who survived to adulthood became leading exponents in early music, sculpture, and ballet. Lucie Skeaping (née Finch) is a British singer, instrumentalist, broadcaster and writer. She was a founder of the early music group the City Waites and the pioneering klezmer band the Burning Bush. She presents BBC Radio 3's ''Early Music Show'', a weekly programme dedicated to the early music repertoire. Mary Emma Skeaping (15 December 19029 February 1984) was an English ballerina who is better known as a ballet teacher, director, choreographer, and producer. She served as director of the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm for nine years (19531962), and became an international authority on ballet from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century.
