Sjömansjul På Hawaii
Sjömansjul på Hawaii, also known as "Jag en ensam sjöman är" or "Det är julkväll på Hawaii", is a Christmas music, Christmas song, with lyrics by Helge Roundquist (signature "Miguel Torres") and music by Yngve Stoor. The lyrics describe a Swedish sailor visiting Hawaii at Christmastime, and longs back home to Sweden when the sailors celebrate Christmas on board their boat, moored to a wharf while the Sunshine. The song was recorded by Yngve Stoor and became one of the most popular Swedish songs of 1945 in music, 1945, despite being seasonal. ''Svensktoppen'' () is a weekly record chart airing at Sveriges Radio. Until January 2003, the songs had to be in the Swedish language. Svensktoppen has aired since 1962, except for the years 1982-1985. The last years before the January 2003 change, the programme was strongly dominated by dansband music. Hans Christer Sjögren (born 6 April 1950) is a Swedish singer, songwriter and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the dansband Vikingarna. Early life Hans Christer Sjögren was born in Hagfors, Sweden, on 6 April 1950, as the child of Eivor (née Östling) and Hans Sjögren. Career 1978–2004: Vikingarna On 15 September 1978, Stefan Borsch left the band and Sjögren reluctantly became their lead singer. The first album by Vikingarna with Christer Sjögren as singer is " Kramgoa låtar 7", released in 1979. 2008–present He competed in Melodifestivalen 2008, the Swedish preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Hans Olle Lennart Andersson (born 28 January 1948) is a Swedish country singer and songwriter, whose albums had chart success in Sweden during the 1980s. He took part in Melodifestivalen 2015 in a bid to represent Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with "Guld och gröna skogar".
