Sivar Arnér

	Sivar Arnér Sivar Arnér (13 March 1909 – 13 January 1997) was a Swedish novelist and playwright. Biography Sivar Arnér was born at Arby parish in Kalmar County, Sweden. Arnér was the son of the merchant Ernst Arnér and Hilda Nilsson. His brother Gotthard Arnér (1913-2002) was a cathedral organist first at Växjö Cathedral and later at Storkyrkan in Stockholm. His brother Ivar Arnér (1921-1986) was an economist and chief financial officer of Gothenburg Railways. He attended Lund University where he received his Ph.D. in 1932. He was employed as a teacher at Karlskrona, Skara and Norrköping until 1948. He subsequently settled in Stockholm to become a full-time writer. Among his novels are ''Plånbok borttappad'' (1943), ''Knekt och klerk'' (1945) and ''Tvärbalk'' (1963). Arnér also published a number of dramas including ''Fem hörspel'' (1959) and Drottningen (1984). He was awarded the Dobloug Prize in 1971. picture info	Voxtorp Church, Kalmar County Voxtorp Church ( sv, Voxtorps kyrka) is a Middle Ages, medieval round church in Kalmar County in Sweden. It belongs to the parish of Halltorp-Voxtorps in the Diocese of Växjö. History and architecture The church was built around 1240 in tufted sandstone and cobblestone and painted with white paint. It may have been one storey higher. It is a so-called fortified church and was built to serve multiple uses. Several such churches, that could be used for many purposes as places of worship, defense and also storage were during this time built along the east coast of Småland and on Öland, Öland island. It is one of only eight Middle Ages, medieval round churches in Sweden to survive to this day. It is located not far from Hagby Church, Småland, Hagby Church, another round church with a similar history which probably pre-dates Voxtorp Church and may have served as a source of inspiration. 	Elias Arnér Elias Arnér (Elias S. J. Arnér; born 2 March 1966) is a Swedish professor in biochemistry active in the fields of redox biology and cancer research. He studied medicine at Karolinska Institutet and became a medical doctor in 1997. He received his Ph.D. in 1993 from Karolinska Institutet on the subject of nucleoside analogues in relation to cancer and HIV treatment. He moved to Munich, Germany where he started focusing on selenoproteins. He returned to Karolinska Institutet where he became associate professor in 2000 and appointed professor in 2009. He is head of the biochemistry division in the department of medical biochemistry and biophysics at Karolinska Institutet. In 2017 he chairs thSe2017 – 200 Years of Selenium Research Conference.
