''Sitra Ahra'' is the fourteenth full-length musical album by Therion released on 17 September 2010 in Europe, and 26 October 2010 in North America. It is the first studio release since ''Gothic Kabbalah'' in 2007. The album title was announced on 4 February 2010. It refers to the Qliphoth of Qabalistic lore. Therion (band)
Therion (formerly Blitzkrieg and Megatherion) is a Swedish symphonic metal band founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987. Its name was inspired by the Celtic Frost album '' To Mega Therion''. "To Mega Therion" is Greek for "The Great Beast" and was a title used by occultist Aleister Crowley. Originally a death metal band, Therion adjusted its musical style by adding orchestral elements, including choirs, classical musicians, and even a full orchestra at their concert performances. As a result, they are considered pioneers of the symphonic metal genre. Therion takes its themes for the lyrics from different mythologies and practices, including occultism, magic and ancient traditions and writings. Cú Chulainn
Cú Chulainn ( ), called the Hound of Ulster (Irish: ''Cú Uladh''), is a warrior hero and demigod in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology, as well as in Scottish and Manx folklore. He is believed to be an incarnation of the Irish god Lugh, who is also his father. His mother is the mortal Deichtine, sister of king Conchobar mac Nessa. Lori Lewis
Lori Lewis is an American opera singer and soprano who is an official member of the Swedish symphonic metal band Therion. Lewis is also the former singer for Aesma Daeva, a band that toured as a supporting act with Therion in Canada and the US in 2006 and 2007. Career Lewis got her undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at the Missouri State University, and the graduated degree at the University of Kansas. In September 2011, Christofer Johnsson, Therion's head, announced that Lewis was named permanent member of the band, becoming then the first female member to have permanent status in the history of the band. Snowy Shaw
Snowy Shaw (born Tommie Mike Christer Helgesson on 25 July 1968) is a Swedish heavy metal musician (primarily a drummer) based in the port city of Gothenburg in the west coast of Sweden. He has played with many heavy metal bands, like King Diamond, Dream Evil, Mercyful Fate, IllWill, Notre Dame and Memento Mori. Snowy is adept at playing guitar as well as drums. He is a primary songwriter in Dream Evil. In October 2006, Snowy joined the symphonic metal band Therion, singing on the '' Gothic Kabbalah'' album and participated in the 2007 tour together with already established singer Mats Levén. Thomas Vikström
Sven Erik Herman Thomas Vikström (born 21 January 1969) is a Swedish singer best known for working with hard rock and heavy metal bands including doom metal bands Candlemass (during their initial final years, from 1991 to 1994) and power metallers Stormwind. He is the son of opera singer Sven-Erik Vikström. He is also a permanent vocalist for the symphonic metal band Therion. Musical theatre Inspired by his father, Vikström has played roles in theatre productions starting on stage at the Stockholm theatre Folkan in 1990. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Christian Vidal
Christian Vidal (born 26 April 1972) is an Argentine guitarist, member of the symphonic metal band Therion. He has so far released two solo albums. Life and career Christian Vidal was born in Zárate, Buenos Aires Province. He started playing guitar at the age of eight. In 2001 he formed the heavy metal band ''Cuero'' together with former Kamikaze vocalist ''Enrique Gomez Yafal''. ''Cuero'' went for several tours across Argentina and recorded two albums "''Cuero''" (2000) and "''Heavy Metal''" (2004). Christian released his solo albumEl Viaje in 2005. Guitar

Christofer Johnsson
Christofer Johnsson (born 10 August 1972) is a Swedish musician and producer. He is a founding member and the guitarist for symphonic metal band Therion and was previously a member of Carbonized, Liers in Wait, Messiah, and Demonoid. In 2006, he announced he will no longer sing for Therion – though he will continue as guitarist for the group. Inspiration and influences In his childhood, Johnsson enjoyed listening to classical music and gradually became more interested in his father's '50s and '60s rock. Popular music played on the radio in this era generally had a lot of strings in it, and even though much of it did not fall in his taste, it still managed to influence him. As a seven-year-old, he heard his first progressive rock as a theme in a Norwegian children TV program.
