''Siren'' (also marketed as ''Siren 108'' ) is a 2024 Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Antony Bhagyaraj, in his directorial debut, and produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar under Home Movie Makers. The film stars Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh, alongside Anupama Parameswaran, Yogi Babu, Azhagam Perumal, Ajay and Samuthirakani. The film was officially announced in August 2022 under the official title ''Siren'', while, in January 2024, the title was later subtitled with ''108''. Principal photography commenced in September 2022. It was shot sporadically in several legs, with filming locations including Kanchipuram, Chennai, Karaikudi, Karaikal, and wrapped by mid-April 2023. The film has music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, background score composed by Sam C. S., cinematography handled by Selvakumar S. K. and editing by Ruben. Jayam Ravi
Mohan Ravi (born 10 September 1980), better known by his stage name Jayam Ravi, is an Indian actor who works in the Tamil film industry. He has won a Filmfare Award and three SIIMA Awards. The son of veteran film editor A. Mohan, Ravi made his debut as a Child artist in the Telugu film '' Bava Bavamaridi'' (1993), produced by his father. In the Indian film industry, the muhurat shot or muhurtam shot is the first shot (or take) of a film marking the commencement of the principal photography. It is preceded by a pooja (religious rites). Muhurtam is a word from the Rig Veda and means moment.
