Agha Siraj Durrani
Agha Siraj Durrani (born 1953) is a Pakistani politician who is the current Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, in office since 2013. He was the Speaker of the 12th Provincial Assembly of Sindh. His father, Agha Sadaruddin, and uncle Agha Badruddin also served as speakers of the same assembly. He is ethnically Durrani Pashtun. Political career Hailing from Garhi Yasin, Durrani first contested elections in 1985 during the Zia regime, in which he lost. He joined the Pakistan Peoples Party and secured a victory in 1988 elections. He is a confidante of PPP chairman Asif Ali Zardari. In 1990, during Nawaz Sharif government he was imprisoned for some time for corruption charges. Sirajuddin Haqqani
Sirajuddin Haqqani ( ps, سراج الدين حقاني, Sirāj al-Dīn Ḥaqqānī, ; aliases ''Khalifa'', and, ''Siraj Haqqani''. born December 1979) is an Afghan Islamist militant who is the first deputy leader of Afghanistan and the acting interior minister. He has been a deputy leader of the Taliban since 2015, and was additionally appointed to his ministerial role after the Taliban's victory over Western-backed forces in the 2001–2021 war. Abd Allāh ibn ‘Abd ar-Raḥman Sirāj ( ar, عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن سراج; 1876 – May 1949) was an Arabs, Arab politician and Islamic scholar who held various posts in the Kingdom of Hejaz and later the Emirate of Transjordan, including the office of Prime Minister of both countries (including being the 5th Prime Minister of Jordan). Born in Mecca, he graduated from Madrasah as-Sawlatiyah and later al-Azhar University in Cairo. In 1907 he was appointed Mufti of the Hanafis in Mecca by Sharif Ali Abd Allah. He was elected to represent Mecca in the Chamber of Deputies (Ottoman Empire), Ottoman parliament in 1908, though he resigned before he ever served. Mirza Muhammad Siraj-ud-Daulah ( fa, ; 1733 – 2 July 1757), commonly known as Siraj-ud-Daulah or Siraj ud-Daula, was the last independent Nawab of Bengal. The end of his reign marked the start of the rule of the East India Company over Bengal and later almost all of the Indian subcontinent. Siraj Sikder (27 October 1944 – 2 January 1975) was a Bangladeshi revolutionary politician. Early life Sikder was born on 27 October 1944 in Bhedarganj, Shariatpur District, East Bengal.
