Sir Willie Purves Quaich
The Sir Willie Purves Quaich is an annual rugby union award given to the "most outstanding young male Scottish player" of that season. The quaich is named for Sir Willie Purves, a notable Scottish banker who was a chairman of the HSBC bank. First awarded in 2000, Donnie Macfadyen was the initial recipient. Matthew Joseph Fagerson (born 16 July 1998) is a Scottish professional rugby union player who plays as a number eight for United Rugby Championship club Glasgow Warriors and the Scotland national team. Early life Fagerson played for the great Dundee Eagles at junior rugby level. Fagerson attended the High School of Dundee and Strathallan School and played for the Caledonia U18 district side. Magnus Donald Blackburn Bradbury (born 23 August 1995) is a Scotland international rugby union player who plays for Bristol Bears in the Gallagher Premiership. David Kipling Denton (born 5 February 1990) is a retired Zimbabwean-born Scottish rugby union player.
