Siocon
Siocon, officially the Municipality of Siocon ( ceb, Lungsod sa Siocan; Subanen: ''Benwa Siocan''; Chavacano: ''Municipalidad de Siocan''; tl, Bayan ng Siocan), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 48,524 people. Visitors describe Siocon as a "hidden paradise". Local industry includes the Canatuan mine. Poverty is measured in different ways by different bodies, both governmental and nongovernmental. Measurements can be absolute, which references a single standard, or relative, which is dependent on context. Chavacano
Chavacano or Chabacano is a group of Spanish-based creole language varieties spoken in the Philippines. The variety spoken in Zamboanga City, located in the southern Philippine island group of Mindanao, has the highest concentration of speakers. Other currently existing varieties are found in Cavite City and Ternate, located in the Cavite province on the island of Luzon. Chavacano is the only Spanish-based creole in Asia. The different varieties of Chavacano differ in certain aspects like vocabulary but they are generally mutually intelligible by speakers of these varieties, especially between neighboring varieties. While a majority of the lexicon of the different Chavacano varieties derive from Spanish, their grammatical structures are generally similar to other Philippine languages. Subanon Language
The Subanen languages (also Subanon and Subanun) are a group of closely related Austronesian languages belonging to the Greater Central Philippine subgroup. Often described as a single language, they are considered by linguists as a dialect cluster more than a monolithic language. Subanen languages are spoken in various areas of Zamboanga Peninsula, namely the provinces of Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur, and in Misamis Occidental of Northern Mindanao. There is also a sizeable Subanen community in Misamis Oriental. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Dipolog (Latin: ''Dioecesis Dipologanae''; Filipino: ''Diyosesis ng Dipolog''; Cebuano: ''Diyosesis sa Dipolog;'' Spanish: ''Diócesis de Dipolog'') is a Roman Rite diocese of the Latin Church of the Catholic Church in the Philippines which comprises the civil province of Zamboanga del Norte. Erected in 1967 from territory in the Archdiocese of Zamboanga, the diocese is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Ozamiz. The seat of the diocese is the Cathedral of Our lady of the Most Holy Rosary which is located at the center of the city of Dipolog of Zamboanga del Norte.
