''Sins of Our Fathers'' is the second album by the American musician Andy Prieboy, released in 1995. The album cover graphic is by Josh Agle and is based on ''Hougoumont'' by Robert Gibb. The cover art depicts the repelling of Jerome's noon assault at the Battle of Waterloo. The album was recorded in a Los Angeles garage. Critical reception The ''Telegram & Gazette'' wrote that "Prieboy writes clever songs—loading them up with cultural and literary references—and delivers them with a big, theatrical sound that crosses Queen with Tom Lehrer." Andy Prieboy
Andy Prieboy (born April 17, 1955) is an American musician, songwriter, and author. He was lead singer of the band Wall of Voodoo from 1983 to 1988. He went on to record solo albums, musicals and wrote a novel. Life and career Prieboy was born in Los Angeles and raised in East Chicago, Indiana. Early in his career, he was in the San Francisco art band Eye Protection, which had one track on the compilation ''Rising Stars of San Francisco'': "Take Her Where The Boys Are". They also recorded a 7-inch single called "Elroy Jetson" with a b-side of "Go Go Girl" on Eleph Records. In 1983, he replaced Stan Ridgway as lead vocalist of Wall of Voodoo. ''Seven Days in Sammystown'' was the first Wall of Voodoo album to feature Prieboy, which was followed by ''Happy Planet'', and finally ''The Ugly Americans in Australia'' (a live album recorded to fulfill their recording obligations to IRS Records). Josh Agle (born August 31, 1962) is an American artist, better known by the nickname Shag. Biography Josh Agle was born August 31, 1962, the first of nine children in Sierra Madre, California. He spent his early childhood in Hawaii, and later moved with his family to Los Angeles. While Agle was attending high school, his family moved to Utah. In the mid-1980s, he returned to California, to study economics and architecture at California State University, Long Beach. He changed his major to graphic design and achieved his first successes as an illustrator while in college, with work for the magazines ''Forbes'', ''Time'' and ''Entertainment Weekly''. Robert Gibb RSA (28 October 1845 – 11 February 1932) was a Scottish painter who was Keeper of the National Gallery of Scotland from 1895 to 1907 and was Painter and Limner to the King from 1908 until his death. He built his reputation on romantic, historical and particularly military paintings but was also a significant portrait artist. Chad Fischer
Chad Fischer is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer from Santa Monica, California, also known as the frontman of the band Lazlo Bane. Early years Chad Fischer's early work was being a drummer for the band School of Fish founded by his college friend Josh Clayton-Felt. Fischer replaced the original drummer M.P. in 1991, however he did not play on the band's second album due to fallout with a producer and was replaced by Josh Freese. Nevertheless, Fischer still stayed with the band to perform live. The only official commercial School of Fish release that included his drumming was the single "Take Me Anywhere", which included two live tracks as b-sides. After School of Fish disbanded in 1994 Chad Fischer went on to build his own recording studio and started to write new material.
