Sinners (2004 Film)
''Stateside'' (released as ''Sinners'' in Germany) is a 2004 American biographical-drama film. It is an adventurous love story about a high school rich kid serving in the Marine Corps to avoid jail, who eventually falls in love with an actress with schizophrenia. Those around them ask them to keep their distance from each other, but both refuse. The film is based on a true story. The film was released to theaters on May 21, 2004, and released on video/DVD on October 12, 2004. Plot Dorri Lawrence ( Rachael Leigh Cook) is an actress and singer who resides in Hollywood, California. She has undiagnosed schizophrenia, which causes problems in her career. After another concert goes wrong due to her untreated disease, she is sent to get help for her schizophrenia. Robert Greenhut
Robert "Bob" Greenhut (born December 18, 1942) is an American film producer. Born in New York City, Greenhut studied music at the University of Miami. He began his film career as a production assistant on Arthur Hiller's 1967 comedy ''The Tiger Makes Out''. During the next seven years, he worked in various production capacities, rising through the ranks to become a production manager, assistant director, and associate producer. Greenhut served in that last capacity on ''The Front'', a 1976 Hollywood blacklist drama starring Woody Allen. It was the first of many collaborations with the writer/director. Greenhut served as the executive producer and production manager of ''Annie Hall'' and went on to produce or executive produce every Allen-directed film through to the period musical comedy ''Everyone Says I Love You'' in 1996. Sarah Holcomb is an American former actress. Her first role was in ''Animal House, National Lampoon's Animal House'' (1978) as Clorette DePasto, the 13-year-old daughter of shady Mayor Carmine DePasto; Holcomb was 19 years old when filming began in October, 1977. Following ''Animal House'', she had roles in four other films, including ''Caddyshack'', released in 1980.
